Debra Singer-Harter Biography

 

Debra Singer-Harter attended The Ohio State University and received a BS in Industrial Design, Visual Communications, and continued by earning an MA in Product Planning.

 

She had rewarding careers at an advertising firm and at IBM. She helped to design and develop a broad range of advertising materials, and both hardware and software products. The products included displays and keyboards, hand-held devices, system and device software, and self-checkout systems and kiosks. The marketing materials included brochures, billboards, advertising and identity programs including business logos. She helped design events, including promotion through social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter), and then ran events and captured leads. She has several patents.

 

Her work has been shown at Boylan Heights Artwalk, Visual Arts Exchange, and 311 Gallery in Raleigh.
